Creepy pasta

Apa Itu Creepypasta? Creepypasta - menurut beberapa sumber yang pernah saya baca - adalah istilah plesetan dari "copypasta" yakni istilah slang di internet untuk tulisan yang dicopas dari sebuah situs ke situs yang lain, namun sesuai dengan namanya, yang di-copas ini adalah hal-hal yang bertema creepy atau menyeramkan, biasanya cerita pendek atau gambar/foto yang memang sangat mudah untuk di-copas dan disebarluaskan. Nah, ada hal yang menarik dibalik sebuah creepypasta menurut saya. Karena ceritanya yang biasanya singkat, sebuah creepypasta harus bisa memberikan kesan yang mendalam melalui cerita yang sangat pendek tersebut. Tentu saja kesan yang mendalam di sini maksudnya adalah ketakutan. Sehingga sebuah creepypasta dinyatakan berhasil apabila mampu membuat bulu kuduk pembacanya merinding, atau sukses besar jika sampai terbawa mimpi. Dalam creepypasta, kita tidak dituntut untuk memberikan cerita yang utuh, sebuah creepypasta bisa saja berupa percakapan pendek, sebuah narasi pengalaman, atau bahkan cuma sekedar gambaran sebuah adegan. Pendeknya cerita creepypasta membuat orang tidak bosan membacanya, dan langsung mengena rasa takutnya. Terlebih banyak creepypasta yang disertai dengan foto-foto menyeramkan. Tentu akan membuat bulu kuduk gampang merinding, apalagi jika dibaca sendirian, di tengah malam, dan di tengah kuburan.
